Checking how much Hard Disk Space you are using with Windows 2008.

Before checking how much hard disk space you are using with Windows 2008 it is important to remember that if you are using still using Windows 2008 as the operating system on your dedicated server it is time to upgrade to a newer version of Windows.

Windows 2008 is end-of-life at Microsoft.

When considering upgrading from Windows 2008 it is possible to quickly see how much hard disk space that you are currently using. The first thing to do after connecting to your dedicated server via Windows Remote Desktop [RDP] is to navigate to the START button in the lower right hand corner of your Windows dedicated server desktop, and RIGHT click, this will open Windows Explorer. When Windows Explorer opens RIGHT click on your main disk drive, and then click PROPERTIES, this will display the total amount of disk space that you have used, what is available, and the total size of your hard disk in your dedicated server.

If you have any problems accessing this information or have any questions about your dedicated servers, please open a support ticket from your myPingPipe client area, and our next available representative will quickly respond.
