What is a spam trap ?

A "spam trap" is a term that describes e-mail addresses that are created but never sign up to receive mail. It is used as a way that monitoring services check to determine if emails are likely spam, bulk, and/or unsolicited.

PingPipe does not allow the sending of spam email, so it is very important that no email sent from IP addresses associated with your account be received by a spam trap. For more information on how to successfully use email marketing please enter a support ticket from the PingPipe client area, and our next available representative will reply as soon as possible. We also recommend that you regularly review our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy (AUP).
