Reboot your Dedicated Server via IPMI

To reboot your dedicated server via IPMI, first check the welcoming email that was sent when your dedicated server was deployed to get IP and login credentials. After logging into your IPMI server click "Remote Control" on the top menu screen. On the next screen that shows, click on "Power control" on the right. Next, click on "Power cycle server", then the "Run action" icon. Your dedicated server will then reboot / power cycle. You can also use the "Power Control" feature of your dedicated server's IPMI if you want to disable it. IPMI is also useful for remote access console, we will cover that in a separate article. If you ever run into trouble reaching your server's IPMI or have any questions, all it takes is a support ticket via your myPingPipe.com client portal, and our technicians will respond right away.
