Restrict RDP access by IP address in Windows 2019

To restrict RDP login access to be allowed from only specific IPs first log into your server as Administrator. After you have successfully logged into your dedicated server locate your Windows Firewall in your Windows Advanced Security settings. Open your Windows firewall and click on the Inbound Rules section on the left side and locate the rule for RDP. Right click on the RDP rule then Properties and then Scope. On the Scope tab choose the radio button that is next to 'These IP Addresses' then click Add. You will then be able to add the IPs that you want to have RDP login access. You can add as many IPs as you want, add them one at a time and click OK after each IP that you add.

If you make a mistake and can no longer log in from your IP after adding or changing a Windows firewall rule please open a support ticket from your myPingPipe.com client portal to contact our support team.
